The Presidential election coming in November is critical. Orthodox (orthos: right or true; doxa: opinion) thinking is being pitched out like used bath water.  A statement made by Carrie Brown in POLITICO sums it up fairly well in my thinking.

I think it is important that we be informed politically, even though my taking a public stand for one candidate or the other is not germane to my subject. I was watching the Democrat Convention last evening and heard part of the speech by the Montana Governor. The Rocky Mountain News put it this way:
