The God Particle
OK! One more time. Those physicists are back again with their questions – and I have to give them the answers – as usual.
After decades of careful experiment, physicists say they have found the “strongest indication to date “to prove the existence of the ‘God particle’– a subatomic particle important to the understanding of space, time and matter. The announcement today, based on experiments at the Department of Energy’s Fermilab near Chicago comes just before a major meeting this week in Australia, where more findings will be announced. “This is one of the cornerstones of how we understand the universe,” said Rob Roser, a Fermilab physicist, “and if it’s not there, we have to go back and check our assumptions about how the universe exists.”
OK, Rob, listen up. It is there. It’s a He, and His name is Jehovah God. You don’t have to check your assumptions any more. He did it – the Universe, I mean. So you’re done with that part.
Roser said he expected the CERN scientists to offer more evidence though they will also be cautious. “The particle, if it’s real, will show itself in different ways. We need for all of them to be consistent before we can say for sure we’ve seen it.”
Again, Rob, you are right. God is real, and does show Himself in different ways. We call it “manifestations.” The most consistent was the manifestation of the Lamb of God, Jesus of Nazareth. He was God in flesh. He lived among us and died to redeem us. God also manifests Himself in the Holy Spirit who takes up residence in the “innermost being” of Believers.
“During its life, the Tevatron must have produced thousands of particles, if they actually exist, and it’s up to us to try to find them in the data we have collected,” said Luciano Ristori, a physicist at Fermilab.
No, Luciano. There is only one “particle.” Yes, He does actually exist, but you don’t have to “find Him.” He is looking for you. He is seeking you. He is waiting on you to respond to His call in your “heart.” All the data you need is in His Word, the Bible.
Physicists say the “God particle” would help explain why we, and the rest of the universe, exist. It would explain why matter has mass, and is able to coalesce. Without it, as CERN explained in a background paper, “the universe would be a very different place…. no ordinary matter as we know it, no chemistry, no biology, and no people.”
Exactly right guys! Knowing God does explain the Universe. It explains everything. Without Him, no matter, or chemistry, or biology, or people, and one thing you forgot, no redemption from the curse of sin. You are so on track at discovering the real answers to life!
Now, if you have more confusion, or questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call. Llove you guys -
Christian

Wow! It’s so hard to believe! Cancer is a thing of the past, the homeless are safe, starvation in the world has been wiped out, and everything’s OK. Wait a minute! Hold it! The god particle is not that kind of a thing. And the real God of the universe is still in his place, and according to my Bible (John 1) He is the cause of everything, and that everything holds itself together.
What a waste! Scientists have spent untold time, money, and effort to discover something that doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. Just think how much good could have been done with all the money those guys spent just playing with their little collider streams. So they saw something, or they broke something apart! Do you really think that makes any sense at all? I still have bills to pay, will have them to pay this time next year, we’ll elect a president in November, and children will still be dying because they’re hungry! Wake up America.
I can’t imagine depending on a bunch of scientists with their heads in the sand, thousands of miles away, to make my life better.

LOL..their particle seems to sound very much like “something” vs “Someone.” I think (if it matters what I think) that are still worshiping the creation. I personally am looking forward to the “big bang” when the existing universe burns.
