Thought For The Day

More Judges

Some are saying that the immigration problem can be mitigated, or handled, or ended if we could get Congress to authorize more Judges for Immigration Courts. There is a disconnect here somewhere.

First, why do illegal immigrants get to go to Court? I confess I don’t understand why those who are caught entering the United States illegally are not routinely, matter-of-fact, immediately returned to the other side of the border. If they are returned to Mexico or Canada or wherever, and that is not their home Country, let that Country deal with the issue. After all, they probably entered that interim Country illegally as well.

And I surely don’t understand the need for more Courts and Judges. Fewer and fewer illegals are deported every day, month, year, decade.

The Administration says the decline stems from a 2008 law signed by Bush that makes it difficult to send unaccompanied minors back to their home countries without putting them before an immigration judge. The Obama Administration recently asked Congress for additional resources, including more judges, to more quickly process the spike in unauthorized arrivals. (TIME)

Well, of course I should have know it was Bush’s fault. However, the major news networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc., keep reporting that 80-90% of illegals never report to Court after they have been released to wait their turn. So if we can’t handle the crowds now (10-20%), how many more are we going to need when we have to deal with 100% of the problem.

We won’t have this problem when it comes time for Heaven. The Judge knows those who are His. Those who do not know Him will be turned to separation from Him and Heaven forever. There is no disconnect between the Truth and disposition. Might I suggest you find a place where the Gospel is clearly and accurately proclaimed. Time is short.
